How to access a consumer account

To access information on a particular consumer click on the Consumers search button at the top of the page. (The word 'Consumer' may be different based on your settings).

Note: There is a Consumers and a Web Users option. The differences are outlined below:

• Consumers Search - Searches your collection system for an account or person. It will find anyone who is in your system. A Consumer account may or may not have setup Web Access.

• Web Users Search - Searches the users who have signed up for Website Access. This will be a subset of your accounts since not everyone signs up for access. Users are identified by their email address which acts as their username. A user may be linked to on or multiple Consumer Accounts.

If you do not see this option, then you do not have permission to search accounts. This can be changed by having your administrator add you to the Consumers Search permission group.Click on Consumers option and you will see the below Consumer Search options.

You can search by Reference Number, Email, Last Name, Original Account Number or Phone Number.

The example below will use Reference Number as the search option.

• Enter the Reference Number

• Click on Search Button 

This will show you the Reference Number in blue and the general account information.

• Click on the Reference Number to bring up the account details related to that Consumers account.
