Manually Reset Agent Passwords  

Summary: Reset passwords for users without email addresses. Follow these steps to set a temporary password. 


Prerequisites  

  • Admin access to the Freshdesk portal. 


Steps  

Section 1: Locate the User  

1. Navigate to Settings > Manage Users.  


2. Search for the user and click their name to edit.  


Section 2: Reset the Password  

3. Click Reset Password.  


 4. Enter a temporary password.  


5. Notify the user to log in and update their password via their profile menu.
